Marble mazes are great sensory games that are fun for children and adults! A marble has been sewn between two layers of soft flannel fabric, and a path stitched (tripled stitched for strength and durability) into a maze pattern. The object of the game is to push the marble through the maze path, from one patterned corner to the other, and vice versa.
There are 4 different levels of Mazes.
This activity encourages
-focus and patience
-fine motor skills
Marble mazes are an excellent game to use with children on the spectrum, hand therapy patients, seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia, etc. It is a great quite time activity that easily fits in your purse or diaper bag which makes it perfect to pull out at church, the doctors office, restaurants and car rides. Marble mazes have been used in some classrooms as a self regulation technique.
The marble maze is approximately 8 by 10 inches. One side is a fun, colourful pattern and the other side is a solid colour that makes it easy for the maze pattern to be seen.
